Is English your second language or do you just prefer to type like a severely retarded inbred?

You are so retarded. You come here asking for help and then tell us we're wrong. You don't have a 1.4, unless you don't actually have a miata. The 1.6 or 1.8 miata motors are fine for a turbo setup. But first, you need to learn stuff about your car, like what fugging engine is in it. Btw, you have a 1.6

The serious advice is this.

This is the best and most knowledgable group of miata fanatics you will find on the net.

You will not be spoon fed, you will be expected to search for AT LEAST 10 mins before you post a stupid question.

You have a 1.6.

Read the faq. then read it again. then again. Then dont post for a week. then you may ask silly questions only after you have searched.

Trust me.

Your welcome,
Dann

also read my signature.

Put your car details in yours, and then add your location to your profile.

Why did you lie to us? Do you think we're some kind of a cyborg? We are real people, with feelings, and integrity.

Check your attitude at the door. And search. A lot. This has been covered ad nauseum

There have been quite a few that have made 300whp on the 1.6. Don't throw it out. It uses the same forged rods as the 1.8. It has a forged steel crankshaft already. It will take the same billet oil pump gear upgrade and the same ATI harmonic balancer. It can use the same clutch and flywheel upgrades and already uses the same 5 speed transmission. I uses the same upgraded injectors and fuel pumps.

I think all of this is in the DIY FAQ.
