Default Looking at used Greddy kit in an hour

I have a quick question about the Greddy manifold.

Seller of the used kit I'm going to look at said that the manifold hasen't been modified but also doesn't have cracks etc.

When these manifolds go if the aren't modded, what signs can I look for? I plan to take a straight edge to see if it is warped and look for cracks. Anything else to worry about?

I'm going to meet him in an hour so fast responces would be apreciated.

Thanks for the help, sorry for the rush!

How many miles?

Do relief cuts when you get it.

The newer ones don't need the relief cuts, and they shouldn't be done if you don't need to. I'm not sure how to tell a new manifold from one of the old ones though. If you make the relief cuts, there's a chance the manifold will warp and get stuck on your head, like mine. That's with track abuse/heat.

+1 on the manifold warping and getting stuck if you do the relief cuts. I'd rather have a hard time removing it than getting cracks though.

Need to get started with something that I can have a CARB sticker on. Will do mods over time but ever 2 years I'm going to have to bring it back to the original kit specs for smog.
