Any Idoit manuel for Drillin/Tappin Oil Drain?
I've seen many description about the proceedures, since I am not as handy as I want myself to be, its much better have an photo manuel proceedures for the job. I had a friend that has to take out its oil pan and that requires taking down the subframe etc.. hours of labour, which I would prefer to avoid.
Many Thanks!

Take a look about halfway down the page. Pop VII has some good stuff in there.

The downside is only making sure that the hose goes downhill all the way. The hose is subjected to heat by the turbo, so I have a short section spliced in that is replaceable every once in awhile.
Almost 30K miles on it so far.

Olderguy's idea of isolating a small section of the 4' of hose is a good idea if you're going to use the OEM port. The area closest to the turbo tends to get brittle over time and I'd rather buy 12" of hose than 4'-5' of hose.
Hydraulic stores usually have the same high temp silicone that all the turbo vendors sell.
Yes and don't tap the pickup tube like a dumbass!

If you do it as shown on this page: http://bellsouthpwp.net/P/o/PopVII/G...0Part%20II.htm
Should not have any problems with deterioration. The pieces shown have been installed for 6 years so radiant turbo heat should not be a problem. Still have about 2/3d of the supplied hose hanging on the garage wall.

When I first got my kit I didn't know about the stock greddy return. I found out about a month later that you didn't have to tap the pan if you didn't want to, I went WHAT?! Then I found out how much better the pan tapping method is and was ok again, but that initial shock of finding out was funny.
