Default EGR block off location

Hi, I have been thinking about blocking off my EGR ports on my VCTS mani, I have seen several threads showing block off plates at the ports, but I was curious if it could be closed it off just inside the throat of the manifold, perhaps with some JB Weld or even welding the EGR outlet up ?

Looks like it would be easy to fill this up and close off the EGR port here ??

I wouldn't ream of risking having the motor inhale the epoxy. Block it off at the EGR flange.

I agree with Sav just pull the egr pipe off trace the flange on some thick plastic and cut it out, did that on mine and its been working flawlessly!
