Need some help on adding side view mirrors. The driver's side mirror is not visible due to the window net so I want to add a spot mirror to the cage, however the cage is tucked too close to the pillar to use one of those clamp on mirrors. Does anyone make a weld on style mirror? I can't find one at Summit, Jegs, etc. but I'm not sure I trust my search results.

Looking for this but as a weld on.

Attach half of that to the door. Drill two holes through the sides and just bolt to the upper edge of the inner door skin. I hate mirrors on cages, because inevitably you will whack your head on it. Mirrors on the door sit further out (more useful) and swing out of the way when the door is open (never going to whack it with your head).

I don't have a picture, but I did mine sorta like Andrew's. I mounted mine to the pinch weld that runs around the door opening, though, so it doesn't move with the door. I used this mirror, but I ditched the clamp on bracket and just drilled a hole in the pinch weld for the single bolt that's supposed to go through the slot. Works pretty well and keeps the mirror completely out of the air.

I've use a ton of these on cars to get the mirror outside of the window net. we got them for 49 bucks. joes racing product.

Thanks for the suggestion. The door method is a better solution all around.
