Default In car air flow

Any one have any ingenious ways of getting more air flow in the car? i know naca duct / flip out vent winds. was thinking about trying to run some ducting to the drivers foot well from where the blower motor sucks air from under the hood. maybe add a 12v pc fan to add airflow but then realized water will get in there sooner or later and mess up my fan.

also all the naca ducts i have found sit ~2" in from the steering wheel =(

added, not talking about cooling for the track, i have a plan for naca ducks, cool ****. talking sitting in traffic when i have to move the car to and from the track or take it to get **** done to it. texas summers suck

rear glass is staying on the ht, not cutting the ht, that will all happen when i find a fucked up ugly one, not destrying a good ht.

i'm getting triangle replacement winds with vent/ducting so no side cool breeze needed

I undo the velcro on my uniform top and stick my arm out the window. Very effective for military types, I see people doing it all over town.

Miataroadster shows their vented windows as "backordered until July", and they wouldn;t stick into the car at all, hardly. If you wanted something more hardcore, what about using a NACA duct on the underside of a splitter and routing the air into the footwell?

https://www.miataturbo.net/showthrea...ht=naca&page=2

These were ~$30ish shipped for the pair, as the post says, it took me about 2 hours for the driver side, and an hour for the passenger side, although I f'ed up and put passenger side too low. I used scraps of lexan I had left over from my hard top window job, so it was nice and cheap.

I've never noticed them being too close to the steering wheel btw. They work amazingly, even at 10mph. I use a cap from a spray can to cover them when it's chilly out.

When I had my Hardtop I was really close to puttind a sunroof in it. There's one on eBay that also lifts up in the front to allow air in.

+1 The AF calls it combat ready. Not sure why, it isn't like but a few jobs do ****. I have held an m16/m4 3 times in my life. Its not like we do ****. Anyways, it vents air into the uniform fairly well. So that works. But forizzle. A naca duct will fit into the window. I test fitted mine there before i did something retarded with it.
