As the title says, are sway bars totally personal / car specific or is a known size determined to be most suitable for our cars.

Car is running well and next step is to sort out the on track behaviour.

The Koni shocks I have allow a bit more body roll mid corner and I think the turn in could be improved somewhat with a set of stiffer sway bars.

The previous owner of my shocks, engine, wheels etc ran 24mm front (15/16 ish) and I think 16mm rear bars. this was a relatively succesfull race car in our "classic Japanese" series.

Is this the right size to start with or do you race / track guys have other ideas....?

160 HP (soon to be 240 engine swap in the next few weeks)

Koni race type shock 10kg fr - 6 kg Rr Springs.

I have a 24mm front and 14mm rear and felt the on track balance was pretty good on my NA.

Follow the 949 formula. A balanced car has a formula and that's spring rate and sway bar. Make your personal adjustments with alignment and damper settings. However, I will concede that they way I set-up my car (after Emilio helped me with bump stops) is the same way Emilio likes his cars, the way JohnWag likes his car, and was very similar to Crusher.

Direzza semi-slicks? I haven't heard of those I didnt know they had an intermediate. I know bridgestone is coming out with a sub 140 tw tire (RE11S) but didnt hear of dunlop. Bars depend on the type of racing and what you have going on spring wise.

I know, and I'm hoping he gets the sexy new tire choices that are coming to the USA next summer, at the same time Japan does (aka now).
