<p>Does Bell just predrill pilot holes, or do they actually install M6 fittings?&nbsp; Helmet is SA2010 rated, not SAH, but I thought I read somewhere that they install M6 inserts.&nbsp; I'd pull the rubber plugs and look, but I left my helmet 14 miles away.</p>

Well, I've got a G-Force, which was both drilled and had an insert.

Looking at the cheapest Bell SA2010 over on SafeRacer (Bell Sport SA2010 Auto Racing Helmet - SafeRacer), one of the reviewers stated:

"I love the fact it is pre-drilled/tapped for HANS devices." So . . . probably is.

<p>Predrilled only, or M6 inserts installed?&nbsp; Anchors come with the Hans device, but I save $10 if I don't need the backing plate washers.&nbsp; I'm trying to over-complicate the purchase to save .83% here.&nbsp; By Grapthar's Hammer, wow, what a savings.</p>

<p>Follow up.&nbsp; Bell does NOT install anchors.&nbsp; Predrill only.&nbsp; Spend the extra $10 on the Hans to get the correct nutwasher backing plates.</p>

I also thought the designation for the M6 taps was SAH2010.
