Default SOLO II AND BP5A Intake Cam

Would a BP5a camshaft be allowable in CSP or would it bump you to a Mod class (SSM)?

Yeah, pretty much. The MSM isn't grouped with the other NA/NBs in CSP, so you can't update/backdate to the BP5A cam. Given that, the rules don't see any difference between swapping to it or swapping to a totally custom cam and you'd get way more gains with the custom one.

Can't do it in SP (CSP or BSP) as it's not considered update/backdate. Engine components must be updated/backdated as a whole. You want BP5A cam, you need BP5A engine in SP.

You can't even do that, the only US car with that cam was the MSM, and it's in BSP.
