Default Full fender NB Flares

I had been looking for these at a reasonable price for a while and now it looks like they are available. Previously only straight out of Japan at some absurd price.

I emailed them just to verify that this page is up to date. I'll post up when I hear back.

AutoKonexion? Any reason you cant run full Kevlar fenders? I know the AK kevlar fenders for the NA that clear 275s are supposed to weigh 3 pounds, just sayin.

It took a day or two when I emailed them. They're not exactly clear with what is in stock and what they're not going to have done till the middle of the summer. Like the kevlar fenders for 275s wont be ready till mid summer.

Are you talking about Autokonexion or the link above?

Oh sorry, autokonexion, I missed your last line that you emailed the modern solo people.

No problem, I just like these because they wrap the full fender all the way down, unlike the other options that just cover the top. Previously these were unavailable unless you were willing to pay $$$ and have them shipped from overseas.

Good news, I emailed again and got an immediate response. I am placing my order today and I hope it wasn't a mistake but he quoted $199 set + shipping.

That quote sure is lower than their advertised price of $495/set... got me thinking now.

Exactly...I Just heard back and he's got to "get down to salt lake" to pick up some boxes and says he'll have me a total by middle of next week. I'll let you know the final cost when I get word. I assuming by set he does not mean pair.

We have 2 sets shipping today, I'll post up pics when they arrive...

They were $230 shipped for each set. He says he has one more set ready and will lay up more as needed. I'd hold off until we get ours in hand to check out quality.

For some reason I seem to think that NB's look better with flares than NA's.

Good to hear on the response. I didn't expect much considering he's "out of the game". We haven't seen that car in at least a couple years and I think it's been sold.

I know I had seen it for sell a while back and really wasn't holding out much hope that I was going to hear back from him. I was even more surprised to hear that he was willing to make more of them. We'll take it though....

Can you even fit a decent 17" tire on the NB without the tire diameter being too big?
