Are those Allisons allowed to run in TT? I would assume so since the TT and PT rules are basically identical (as far as I know).

No one runs those things up here, I don't think I've ever even seen one...

Yep; I use Traqmate as well.

While we're on the subject, has anyone ever encountered this problem?
I set the Traqmate to record laps; I can see the minutes and seconds as I'm driving around the track; I can see the lap time at the finish line each lap; however, after parking the car and shutting it down, when I go back to review the laps, it says, "NO LAPS" for that session. It recorded all the laps from the first session Sunday, but I got the 'no laps' message for the second session. The worst part is, I set a personal best during the second session.

What could it be?

G2X and I like the display but hate everything else. Racekeeper is the one to buy. I won't use Trackmate because it's too hard to read the display and too expensive on the used market.

Common problem. You need to press the stop button before cutting power to the unit. It's annoying, for sure, and makes little sense. If you have not already, try hooking it to the computer, sometimes the laps show back up.

Wire it into main, unswitched power, if you can't train yourself to hit the button!

I don't know if you could tell but I was pretty damn bewildered all weekend, lol. I usually at least run under the SM record, I was three ******* seconds off. Again, **** cars and **** the racetrack, I'm going to Ruidoso for two weeks.

You have to hit the "back" button before you power it down. If it loses power abruptly while still logging sometimes (all of the times?) it won't save the data.

I had to train myself to always hit the back button during my in lap.

Thanks all! To clarify, I was at 122 at S/F, my top speed was ~132 before braking on the front straight. I am working on getting some video up.

Keep in mind the new SM tire (RR) which is supposed to be ~1.5 sec faster than the RA1(according to SM guy I spoke with at TWS).

Yup, yup, that is also what I am hearing. I also hear that they last pretty well and when the do cycle out it isn't as badly as a Hoosier.

What is the Spec Miata record for TWS CW?

I'm guessing 1:58.700, set this weekend, but I could be wrong. But you have to remember that they're on sticky tires: Toyo RRs this year. That's conservatively good for 1s a lap (probably more). And they're potentially drafting and bumping around the track, too. 1:58.7 is a pretty sick time in a SM, IMHO.

Man, i go play dirt bikes for a little bit and a bunch of new turbo miata's pop up at TWS? First april tws (nasa) event i've missed in 5 years! Oh well, I'll get my car together soon. don't know when i'll be at the track again though. Only thing I have planned for this year is the World Time Attack at TMS in Sept. I would like to have a miata play date somewhere before then though. Miss you guys :'(

Huh? The racekeeper with display starts at $2,054 and it doesn't actually include a display, just software to use your iPhone as a display.

Ohh, and it turns out the TraqMate w/ color screen is on sale for $1,350. I've already got one on order (but I still want that road head)

The TraqMate color display is eons better than their original screen. It's pretty effin awesome.

That said, I still think one of you yahoos should buy my Aim SOLO...

Since it's "used" does it still come with all the normal software updates free?

It's fits my budget since I'm saving to build a motor for the NA track car, and looking to do wheels/tires/suspension on the DD NC.

To answer your question, honestly I don't know, but I assume yes because it's never been powered on, never been registered, etc. etc. I don't know how AIM does their software updates, but in my experience I've never had issues getting updates for other dataloggers I've used. Just had to ask nice.
