I should have kept the first post updated, but I didn't; the build sheet evolved as the car did. The latest one is post 26 or so:

Read your thread on trackjunkies, I lol'd.

If you can win PTD with a 24pt build something is seriously wrong.

If you can win PTE in your car minus the MSM cam something is seriously wrong.

I hope a decently built and decently driven car shows up and crushes Stalin...

You should at least get the classing right if you're going to talk trash. I'm not running PT-anything.

All I'm doing is looking at my average lap times and comparing them to track records and recently run event results. It's pretty simple math. I never suggested my build was optimized for anything, certainly not TTD; in fact, I state many times that it is a terrible TTD car.

Whatever, PT and TT rules are near as makes no difference exactly the same.

Sorry, I race wheel-to-wheel, so PT is ingrained in my brain.

Take the MSM cam out and run TTE. If no one runs in D then what's the point? Would it really be that hard to find and swap a stock cam in.

Hell, April 20th is almost a month away. If you can't find and swap a cam in that amount of time you really are lazy.

Look around on this forum, the formula for building a nationally competitive PT/TT miata is basically spelled out in clear terms.

Good luck Aryton

Going for it in B, hopefully I can hang :-/
Still need to get it on the rollers, no idea of current hp, +10deg in ambient temps cost me 1 sec, need to figure out wtf. Prob going to roll back my IAT vs timing settings, the evo guys are only pulling like 2 deg with 185deg IATs

Aha! Now I know why the stuff coming out of your exhaust looked like ****, you're on a piggy. If you're running more than 200whp, you're pretty close to the safety-limit on that car. I'm tuning my car next weekend, want to come out and do yours too?

You need to get dyno'd because if you do anything near tires in any class, you're going to get protested. It's the life of a turbo car. Not only that, even if we get along great and drink beer together after the race and you beat me out of a tire, I'm going to protest your ***, lol.

Bryan will charge you between $75-100 per hour on an MD240 in Rowlette. Maybe less if you like talking about guns and engineering. If you want me to tune it, bring some money to sweeten the deal because I'm living in destitute poverty these days. We'll still have to find a Dynojet somewhere for NASA classing. It turns out that most Dynojet owners are huge ------s so I have no idea where I'm going. I'd go to Alamo but the minute I say I want to adjust something, Bryce starts talking about his tuning rate.

I tried to holler at a playa at NASA but it never worked out. I was working flags at pit-out.

I told you to haul *** because I knew you had space. If Troy were creeping up on his first lap I would have held you. Thanks to me you ran clean all session.

If I can get a god damned INI file I'll be driving at the next one.

There are hardly ever any cars in PT? in texas region, you can win whatever class you want...

If you want competition here it's TT, Super Touring, German Touring, AI/CMC, or SM....everything else is, well...I'll leave it at that. And yes, if in TT you better be using your points and using them wisely. Even then, depends on which class...our big classes are the TTR TT1-3, TTA and TTB...beyond that it's pretty small fields except for TTE on occasion

No one in E or D knows how to drive. It's simple math! Besides, It's not like Foss can drive or any of the people who outran him last event. :P
