Yep. Speaking for the TxMC crew, that is what most of us are using here at least as practice tires.
I poked around a bit and could not find any in 225/45/15. Discount Tire Direct for example is showing they are backordered.
Hustler did you call a Discount Tire retail outlet to see if there is a set sitting on the shelf somewhere, or several somewheres?

I'm just inspring to be as baller as the Cali Crewz. Seriously though if I hope to be competitive in TTS, these slicks should help me out with the A6 shod Porsche GT3 bunch.
The slicks showed up at my door this afternoon. It is stupid how soft they are, STUPID! Much softer than I expected. They make NT-01s look like rocks.

I don't know if anybody cares about these or not, but I remembered this was the size a lot of you guys were looking for, even if not the right brand. I saw them on the local Miata forum (not affiliated):
FS: 225/45R15 Continental Grand-Am Tires

The 23.0x9.5-15 Hoosiers fit my NA by the way with heavy front fender rolling and pulling. On a rough track (H2R) I did not have any rubbing issues that I could see or feel. 12.25" front ride height, 12.5" rear, 15x9 6ULs with 5mm spacers on the front wheels. It is really close, but they fit.
It is almost freaky how light this wheel-tire combo is. ~31 lbs according to my fairly accurate bathroom scale.

Over the 17/18th I will be getting 2 sets of cont take-offs for $200 ((225/45R15 $25/tire for mathmatical challenged folk)... if any one else is interested for a set, lemme know so I can ask - don't know how many extra tires I can get, so first come - first served, not looking to make a profit, just helping out my fellow MT peeps. Of course you pay actual shipping costs from 35080. Just an FYI...
