Not super difficult, but my car will need clutch, motor, header, exhaust, ECU, etc etc. before it hits the track as a PTE car. I can just run it until it pops as a 1.6 car and then upgrade once i have all the parts gathered, and work on the chassis balance in the meantime.

Not a question mark at all. Our PnP AEM setups have been doing it without a hitch for 2+ years now.
