I went through that with my 97:
Lowered the fluid level ... FAIL.
Swapped to redline ... FAIL.
Swapped to RP ... FAIL.
Drained fluid and plugged lines ... SUCCESS.

Is it boiling or cavitation? I couldn't tell on my car. I got tired of cleaning up the engine bay after every session and finally had someone pull the power steering.

im working it out on my setup too.

i have converted to -10an feed line and -6an return line with a canton 32oz resevoir that is firewall mounted and a cheap summit trans cooler.

i havent had it overheat yet even without the ps cooler installed but im just fixing the little leaks im having with my adapter plate to adapt the pump to AN.

Its about 300$ in parts and lines.

i have something like the c5 system, it's a bar bolted to my fmic so it can get cool air and us the fmic as a heat sink.

Whatever you do, don't buy the $50 pulley from Gary and win at life with a depowered rack. There is a reason I depowered mine immediately after driving John's car.

what you just said is imposable. you can't depower with out the no ps idler pulley bracket thing on a mp supercharger. if i go depowered i would have the buy the pulley mount.

If the WHMBO'd didn't drive the car, this would be a viable option.

The fluid probably isn't boiling, the pump is just blowing it out of the dipstick.

Sweet Mfg's anti-foaming fluid helped a lot, when I tracked my daily-driver years ago. SWEET MFG Power Steering Fluid
There are other companies that make anti-foaming fluid, but I have no experience with them. Sweet Mfg fluid is the only non-off-the-shelf fluid I tried, that worked.

Maruha makes a plug & play high-pressure dipstick, specifically to deal with your problem. Japanese/English translation = HA!
