Lol. You'll need different spacers. I'll be glad to exchange them.

So just to be clear, we get rear knuckle sphericals and bronze inserts for the rest of the bushings? Am I following this correctly?

This thread is just for sphericals. Those that want the bronze setup have been pming me or going through my secretary, Aidan. Of those, the people that want a spherical setup also, ive just added to the group buy.

Youre not on the bronze retrofit list, should I add you you?

Are you doing the full set of sleeves and Bushings to free up energy suspension polly? What are you charging for that?

I was going to get another set made for a CSP miata. I don't think the sperical upper rear is legal for that class though.

Secretary here. We're doing a poly retrofit kit (with or without spherical), a delrin kit (with 1 poly LCA and bronze), and a mix of the 2

Pricing isnt fully set in stone. And it's all untested. We should have a few tested soon.

Pm for deets

Any sense in asking if these bronze kits will work with sleeves in the v8r control arms? I know the outer diameter isn't the standard found in poly kits for miatas.

paging @bbundy

The OD is different yes, but I think the IDs are the same, so the kit should be the same?

Bob are they all 7/8" ID?

The sleeves are the same in the V8r arms that's what have them in. Its the OD of the urethane that's different.

The dimension I've had issues with is the bushing length on the rear upper inboard ones on my V8r's were 2mm longer than stock. Requires a bit of deformation of the chassis brackets to get them to fit but if they were stock length the urethane is squished too much and they wont move easily. I'm not sure if this is the case on all energy suspension kits or just the V8R

For those going the bronze route, I have 40 of the mcmaster 2868T171 sleeve bearings sitting on the shelf that it looks like I'm never going to get around to using. $60 shipped if anyone wants them.

Let me know if you want help on the new spacers for bronze bushings, I can crank those out quick, and they'll actually fit inside 16c collets...

So theyre almost perfect! They stretch over the spacers nicely, and when stretched, just barely meet the 1.312" required minimum OD. This is why I say almost perfect, because they just meet 1.312", the rubber doesnt press in snuggly in the ID of the sleeve, although it does seal. Just not tightly.

These will probably come with kits from now on.

Very nice!

If someone really want a tight seal a light coating of black RTV will keep it in place.
