I like my mirrors. I've had them up to a bit over 150 mph.

Got them from Mooneyes

I say damn, that's movin' along pretty good, congrats.

I guess I'll find out next spring after I spend the winter rebuilding my engine
Sad face indicates this was not planned? What happened? One event I was at, a C5 oiled down the track through the uphill esses after ventilating the block. Stock motor but he wasn't running an accusump or whatever else the LS motors need when tracked.

Lost oil pressure, but don't know why yet. I haven't torn the engine down, so I don't know what is going on. Nothing better than losing an engine with less than 2hrs run time.

LS motors are prone to oil starvation, but I thought I addressed that. I am running a full dry sump oil system. Kinda bewildered, but I guess I will find out soon enough.

But anyways.....This is getting way off topic.

Weren't you having oiling issues back during the first start-up? Maybe they came back to bite you? Hope you get it figured out. That car is BAD

Yeah, the bases took a bit to get used to looking at. I guess they did it like tyhat since it's fiberglass and they needed to prevent them from flexing/cracking. I was surprised at how thick they were when I first got them. I've had them ~130mph

you can make the mirrors non-adjustable by just cranking up the tension.
