Racing Insurance?
I looked this up a couple of years ago. I wanted to see what everyone else does. Do A- When you have a bad wreck pull off all the usable parts and scrap the chassis or B- have Racing Insurance to cover it? When I looked it up before it was 3-$400 USD for the weekend race. If any one does go insurance route whats the Pro's and Con's. I've never used it after racing my Miata for 3 years. But no one is happy about wrecking their hard work and money.

When I signed up for the insurance, it was usually a $2,500 deductible for the stated value of the car.
Figured it was worth the $250 or so to cover a 35k loss in my Mini Cooper.
For my Miata? The loss wouldn't be much more than the deductible would be, so I haven't bothered.
Pretty sure it was through Lockton-Infinity or something similar...
