The car I have in mind to build for PTE/E3 is Rover to the T. You guys are going to make them come down even harder on miatas next year lol.

Rob, you have more school busses than I have Miatas! Thanks again for the MS1. It is everything I needed.

I posted videos in the media section, but I'll post here again.

Saturday pole lap (2:01.9). The races were fun, but I think I'm probably most proud of the sub 2:02 lap. I believe this is something like 3 seconds under the SM record, and E thinks it's the PTE track record.

Saturday race:

Sunday race:

Let the trash talking and "how'd he spend the points" speculation commence. :kitty:

Nice lap. What's your dyno reclass? Based on how fast your revs were climbing in 4th compared to my car, I'm guessing you're close to 2400lb with an E no star reclass? My current reclass is E* 131hp 2240lb.

Got any pictures of the car?

Nice lap and races, you cleaned up this weekend...Only race laps count for track records though

Just finally made the jump from TT to PT this past weekend at VIR myself...few guys out here would beg to differ on the title

This is from Saturday qualifying. Kudos to Brett Becker at TrackHQ.com - The Forum for Track Day Enthusiasts, Racers and Time Attack Drivers for the photo.

Lap record @ VIR for SM is 2:20.3

I've gone 2:16.5 in TTE trim in a warmup (didn't count) but typically run in the 2:17 range. Track record in PTE is 2:16.1 Set by Xavier(CRX) a year ago, 16's are pretty rare in our group but a majority the front runners have done them at least once.

PTE group in Mid Atlantic is one of the most competitive groups in our region.

BRP where Andrew did the 2:01.9, SM record is a 2:04.77. 124s vs 140s, or about a 14% difference. 3.9s delta vs 4.2s there, about 8% difference. Call that a wash.

You Mid Atlantic guys going to Miller next year?

Alan Olson set that record a while back on Toyos IIRC. With the RR being the spec tire for next year (rumored), I think that stands to change once people get the setups down.

QFT - Mid Atlantic has a very good group of PTE cars usually.

My buddy has a very fast PTE Sentra SE-R, he won the PTE national championship I think in '08. He hasn't had much time to run the car recently, he's been a bit busy racing in Grand Am...

Also, I have the countries fastest PTE/TTE car, I just haven't built it yet. Turbocharged, AWD, humongous brakes, easily at the PWR/WT limit, way over any "TRQ/WT" limit Greg G. would approve, etc. etc...

I kind of want to put a restrictor on the green car and go to TTE and show all you idiots how to drive. Kind of...I won't. I'll stick with my plan to be severely beaten in TTC.

I can't speak for everyone but I don't see myself making that trip...it'd be a near two week ordeal for us east coasters. A few rumors circling about the 2014 year however.
