Default NB1 or NB2 which is better starting point for track day car?

Which is better and why?

Which is better if staying NA, which is better if going FI?

NB2 for N/A cause of VVT. NB1 for FI because I said so.

Stock for stock, 99-00 cars are lighter. Once they're stripped out, I doubt there's much difference. The VVT motor is ultimately better for N/A and FI builds, assuming you have someone who can tune the VVT (I have no idea how hard/easy it is). I would go 99-00 for simplicity.

If you're going to strip it anyway, get an NB2. You will already have the VVT engine, wiring harnesses, and the better coils. Also aren't there some subframe improvements from NB1 to NB2?

I'd want VVT no matter if N/A or FI.

None important, some attachments for more bracing/weight.

The LS brakes could be worth some too.
