Did you see where the Toyota prototype car hit the tire wall during the hard rain towards the end of the race? The driver got out of the car and walked away without thinking that the car was repairable and able to continue on. For some reason officials allowed the car to continue with the race.

One of the commentators was confused by the driver abandoning his car like that. Another commentator said, "Well I believe that driver is French, isn't he!"

I got quite a laugh.

yeah, I watched the whole race. it was curious that driver allowed to continue racing once the car was fixed but who knows. the french comment was funny

it was probably the most amazing race of all time. Audi is the most superior auto manufacturer of all time, and makes the best cars, and has all the best race drivers.

I'm not really into the delta wing thing at all. when they start crushing the competition I'll give em props.

The delta wing is in Experimental Vehicle Class. So when the delta wing has completion it would be more entertaining.

I loved watching it. but the competition thing is kinda "meh"....
FIA balances out competitions. giving one say bigger tank, another more boost and so forth (this is also why all manufacturers sandbag before LeMan 24), how did you think diesel was able to win many years. There is an article somewhere comparing rule preference to diesel vs. gas. it is kinda pointless to say Audi had the best car / driver. Miata can win if given enough "incentives"
