Ya. Fits good. Haven't tracked it after the vent install, though.

Looks great Mike!

I need to get mine to the body shop for paint. Nothing like a fresh coat of black paint. Those nickel rims look great with black.

Pics of the underside of the hood? How stiff is the hood at that width? I bought one of these vents, but I haven't made time to start hacking up the hood structure to decide how wide I'm willing to run it.

The paint is just Maaco single stage brilliant black (PZ). Too many light sources in my garage make it look funky in the pics.

Another member came by last weekend and pulled my fenders 30mm with an angle grinder and sledge hammer. It turned out much better than I expected. Here are some pictures with the flares screwed on. The 15x10s with 245s fit great. I also tried 15x9s/225s on with 15mm worth of spacer ... the flares need 245 nt01s on 15x10s.

Dammit that is sexy. Well done, Mike. Glad they worked out as well as I thought they would.

FYI, Mike's fenders are Autokonexion GT-Widebody 40mm fronts and full-replacement 30mm rears. If you want to keep a factory-style nose, the 30mm "Blister" front fenders look like factory fenders, but provide enough clearance to run 15x10s. TSE is an Autokonexion dealer, so if you're interested in fenders to clear man-sized wheels, give us a call.

I like those but the pictures are 245-580 tires and they look close. What about 275/35/15 or possibly 23.5X11R16 on 11” wheels? I will have fully tubbed inner fenders but not sure I can get the tires much further inboard by tubbing.

Those pictures don't show enough to figure out what's going to rub and where. I need to compress or remove the springs and jack up the car and get something more than a glamor shot. I'll ask around to see if someone has an old 275 A6 or R6 I can mount on a 15x10. I don't plan on running those tires, but I'm interesting in knowing what will fit.

No idea. The 245/580 fitment w/ 30mm fenders is measured in millimeters, so you're going to have to do your own fitment work if you want to try the 275/35s or wider.

I really like the looks of the Autokonexion full fender actually I like the idea of a full over because I would remove most all of the steel behind it in the as well. But I’m skeptical it is wide enough for as big of tires as I want to go. I have some Tucken 99 N2 clones that look like they are plenty wide. Maybe one of the EP body kits would do.

245X580R15 =9.4” tread width
275/35/15 = 10.1” tread width
23.5X11R16 = 10.6” tread width

Very limited on growing tread width towards the inside. Much of the tread width difference has got to go out.

Orion, I have about 14 used 275 35 15 A6's and 8 15x10" wheels. I run the version 1 Autokonexion bolt on flares. Tell me what you want a picture of and I'll take it for you

Which Autokonexion bolt on flares do you have? the big ones or the small ones? I have the small ones. They barly clear 275's I think I need about 1/2" more for 23.5X11R16.
