M62 and M45 clearance check. Owners please help
To ask a favor of those with access to installed units.
I'm going to start a build soon and need the height measurements of the hot side with the M62 and M45 kits on a NB engine.
Basically looking for:
how high above the valve cover vertically
Length that is above the valve cover.
To answer why- Exocet front clip supposedly interfears and I want to see if it's cost effective to engineer around it.

I don't have a real good way to measure. If you think of something let me know. Here are some pics, hope it helps.
This is where I have the wood set for the next photo.
I tied to take this level with the bottom of the wood. So ballpark, the cap screws stick up probably 3/4" above the vc.
Here is one with the straight edge on the oil filler cap (aftermarket but shorter than stock). The blower is lower, but the bypass is well above.
As far as how far back; my blower is a little forward because 6 rib out front. A regular 4 rib set up would go back about in line with the front of the pcv. The high part anyway (outlet manifold flange where it bolts to blower). Mine is at the back of the "a" in Mazda on the vc.

I'd say about 3/4" so make it 1" to be safe. The bypass however is in the 1.5"-2" range. I suppose you could get rid of it and wire it closed. It surely won't fit on the underside as the header is occuping that area.
If you're really hurting for clearance, you cold use button head cap screws for the out let manifold and grind down the edge of the manifold at a 45. This would probably gain you 1/8"-1/4".
