California sucks ass

According to the latest Consumer Reports issue, when asked: "Considering all factors (price, performance, reliability, comfort, enjoyment, etc.), would you get this car if you had to do it all over again?", only 58% of the owners who bought a 2011-2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe reported that they would. So about all we can really say about the cars is that, statistically, they are substantially more popular than Obama.

Of all the cars I've owned over the last few years, the only one I would buy again was my '13 GT Mustang.
The Speed 3 was good, but wouldn't want another. The 350Z was a disappointment in less than 60 days. The Frontier had terribly cheap leather/interior materials.

If I were going to own another one, I'd have to fix the following:
1. Engine mount (the stock one is floppy and makes for terrible shift feel)
2. Short shifter
3. Bigger rear sway bar (although it rotated well with LFB or a quick lift)
4. The stock Dunlops were TERRIBLE in longitudinal grip(mine was a 2010)
5. A tune to help the top end from falling off so hard (and ditch the boost limiter in the lower 3 gears)
6. BOSE stereo is sub-par at best
The plusses:
1. It spooled quick and the boost hit hard. Midrange/tq were awesome, never needed to leave 6th for a highway pass.
2. Real LSD, although it still took some muscling to keep in a straight line on anything but perfect pavement.
3. The brakes........Oh god the brakes were f------ amazing. (And I have Wilwoods on all 4 corners on the track rat)
It just generally put a smile on my face every time I drove it. It just wouldn't fit my needs anymore.

Agree that the 350z was crap. The interior is full of hard, brittle plastic. The electric parts are made of cheap plastic and are overly complicated. I have driven a 423whp turbocharged one and still have no interest in owning it or even driving it anywhere if it was offered to me to take out for the night.
