Default 99 Miata JRSC Kit Roto-Mold Elbow

Hey Guys I'm so close to being completed with the installation of this kit, the only thing that is holding me back is the freaking roto mold elbow! My car must be an exception, If i'm looking at the directions correctly i have the end of the elbow connecting to the throttle body that has the "Y" I guess you could say where the bypass hose is connected to. My process is as follows!

1. place elbow with coupler on elbow
2. Slide supercharger on, does not line up, not enough play to line coupler up with the throttle body! I broke the small nipple on the other end of the roto elbow but as of right now I need to figure out how to get this on!

pllleeeaaassee help its frustrating the crap out of me!

Pics maybe? Does MOSS still sell these and are the instructions still available online?

I know there was a whole bunch of revisions on these... what were your sources for all the parts?

Um, maybe flip it 180°? That nipple on the side pointed at the block does not look right. Other than that, I got nothin'

EO2K is correct. That nipple pointed at the block is for the bypass hose. It should be at the bottom, pointed toward the fender well. Your bypass will come from here and wrap around the front of the engine to the stock throttle body position.

What those guys said ^^. Also... shove the coupler on the tube as far as you can, snake the tube in there, and then slide the coupler over the throttle body.

Yeah donny you have the coupler on the wrong end. Flip it around like everyone said. Then you have to fiddle with it and feed it sideways next to the driver side strut. The air filter when all is said and done goes net to the strut or a bit in front. Call me if you need anything thing else.
