The rotrex has no low-end, which is pretty damn important, if not the most important aspect of a boosted street car. I say this after driving a 1.6L miata for the last 18 years, and at one point on with major boost creep and blown oil rings, a bad tranny, and a blown diff, outputting better TQ than any rotrex ever could.

The one postive I'll give the rotrex is that it doesnt sound like your mom's vibrator when driving down the street.

Dude, Lysolm 1.6 liter twin screw is the way to fly, or at least TVS1320. mp62 is really too small for a serious BP build, would be adequate on a 1.6.

lol I've no idea on which superchargers are cool and whatnot. nor do I care. I just drove a mp62 car on bandAIDS the other day and it was leaps and bounds better than m45 cars Ive driven before, which is why I made that statement.

I'm sure there are ultra baller other sc's that make insane torque and whatnot.

I'll stick to good 'ol turbos

The lysolm setup on a 99+ engine would be making more top end power than pretty much every turbo car on the site. Because blower almost as much displacement as engine.

I get it. Everyone can talk about the downsides but stock sucks... I am just wondering what you have into it.

I still have Vlads thought to put in the little extra and do turbo but whatever works for you.

Okay you have me there. I'm not. But with a voodoo "tuned" correctly, and a boost timing controller, the feel is near that of stock + a little bit extra whp and the sound of a SC.

I want to see one of these "no bullshit" power supercharger setups. I mean, real power. Not 250whp.

when all you got is text to describe sound, you must be specific as possible.

Coding paradox has one. Its not setup to make silly power I think he's making 300 with it now But with a pulley down, better header, e85, maybe cams an porting that blower should be able to get north of 400.

And isnt that FFSC guy making over 300 with the little mp62?

My BP can make 1000whp. Tons of others are doing the same.

All I (and they) have to do is....................

Got any links to build threads or information on these cars? I don't doubt that there are big power s/c cars at all, I just haven't had a chance to look into them and I am curious.

Coding Paradox would be on his Destination SSM blog. and that Tom guy from FFSC Fast Forward Superchargers - MX-5 Miata Forum Making 320 hp without an intercooler and on bandAIDS, where I call him an idiot for both accounts and for WAY over spinning the blower.

Do you guys need me to tell David he's needed in this thread, or will his input on the last supercharger circle jerk thread be sufficient?
