Thumbs up Rotrex

I have reduced the SC pulley from 95mm to 90mm.A big difference in mid range and response. Being dynoed next week, will post the figures

^That's funny!

Over, what difference did that make in boost? I think I remember reading the Rotrex has the flow capacity for 300whp... are you doing anything for charge cooling? I'm not in the market, but I'd like somebody to actually reach the limits of the thing and see how it hold up.

It's nice an compact, and is priced right for what you get... skip the piggyback option they sell with it, get a real ECU, an IC and WI... shouldn't be too hard to hit the numbers.

Default Xede

I run an XEDE ECU, 5th injector and IC. At 7000 rpm it spins at 110600 rpm so I could go down another few pulley sizes before reaching max.I won't know the boost until it is dynoed

Why not get a Boost guage?

Sounds Cool. I think the S/C has much better control. It makes it feel more like a N/A's dynamics.

Good Luck!

Hi Ended up with 198rwhp, No boost gauge because there is no quick adjustment like a Turbo,so it boosts what it boosts,if that makes any sense.
Cheers

I want to know how much boost this was at too, but apparently that's a trivial piece of information.

Default Rotrex figures

195 RWHP before clutch started slipping.12 psi boost on 98 oct pump fuel
and a big difference in mid range torque and drivability.

How much torque at 3000 and 4000rpms? Got a dyno sheet we could look at?

195whp @ 12psi with 98oct... this seems kinda low but i'm curious.

Still debating GT2554R or SC/Rotrex/FFS/whatever...

I'm not a top end guy... I like torque... yet I drive a miata?!?!?

Post a Dyno sheet...

SC/ed @ 10psi is usually +- 200 whp.

12psi for 200 is alot of psi for not alot of power.

12psi on a Begi/FM2 turbo is 250whp with 200ft/lbs... SC robs some power but 50hp?

I'm more interested in the torque curve, especially with the mods you claim to have done. You can have all the top end you want but on the street, it's how much torque you make at 3-4k that makes the car fun to drive. But that's just me

Hey What's this 'claimed to have done' The only power mod is the SC ,IC and Xede, 200 is the limit beacause I stopped spending ie injectors ,AFM. rods pistons. If you want outright HP buy a bloody BEGI Turbo QUOTE=Skittles;431687]Post a Dyno sheet...

Dude, dont get your panties in a bunch, you post about a new system that came out recently and people like me want details, infos, pics, something... so far all we have is 198 @ 12psi with a Xede and an IC.

Just commenting that it's a little low for 12psi regardless of the system you have. If you dont want opinions or help or anything, stay off the internet, it's full of people with lots of different opinions I heard.
