NB engine build
A friend was cleaning out his race garage, and gave me a few presents!
1) a '96 short block
2) an '01 head complete with cams, valves etc.
As you can see below, my car is an '02 with FFS 'charger stock engine internals(10:1 pistons)
I was thinking of building the above into a very reliable S/C engine (16 -18# Boost)
Question #1 is the '96 block compatable with the '01 head & girdle/pan?
#2 I can't afford a "stroker" kit, so what is max safe overbore?
#3 What brand of pistons is the hot setup?
#4 What rods?
#5 What brand valves (1mm over intakes)& springs?
#6 Is 260-280 reliable WHP possible?
