Default 1,8 jr sc on 1.6?

There is a guy selling a 1.8 JR supercharger, I was wondering if I can use it for my 1.6 shortnose. The kit comes with a 8psi pulley. Im going to be using Megasquirt with wideband and 550cc injectors so tunning with powercrap is not an issue.
Thanks

the charger is the same, the kit is not, all the mounting stuff is different.

using a charger on a shortnose can make the nose fail faster.

Good to know. I had heard about possible issues with JR superchargers and 1990 Miatas, but never made the connection. On a side note (read hi-jack thread) any potential issues with doing a pulley swap from the stock 5 psi to 8 psi on a '93 running a JR unit? Anything I should upgrade?

To the OP:

You need to get/fabricate the mounts and the idler system.

BRITGN:

Same as any boost upgrade, you need to consider increased fuel/ spark control.
