Default 16" wheels

I currently have factory 16 inch wheels on my car which has the sport brakes. I have a set of team dynamice 15x7 +40 and a set of RA1's. I don't want to buy a new set of rime and tires for the track at this time. So I am wondering:

A. Will thease wheels fit?

B. Will it affect my speedometer or any thing else? I am thinking it will.

C. Is there a way of changing the settings in the computer for 15 inch rims?

If the wheels won't fit then I will just get some 16 inch rims.

What 16 inch rims would you recomend?

What offset is recomended?

Also is there a difference in the brake lines. At this time the RF line rubs on the tire when at full lock. I have tried almost any thing that I can think of to make it so that it won't rub but to no avail. I know that the moron that I got this car from had no clue what he was doing and may have bought non sport brake lines if there is a difference. They are the goodbrige lines. Very nice lines. I just wish they would not rub.

Thank you inadvance for any and all help. I am open to any other sugestions.

Have a great day,
Jared

A. Yes.

B. Probably make it more accurate, but knock the odometer out of whack 1-5%

C. A new speedo gear

solutions for brake line = zip ties.

The 15" wheels you listed are the proper offset and width, it's just going to be the inner diameter (whether it clears your brake calipers) that will be the problem. You don't need lug nut to find that out. If it slides on with no contact then they will work.

Brain I never thought about the zip-tie idea. I will give it a shot tonight while I am at work.

For some reason I vaugely remember something about beeing able to customize the setting for the wheel size, but I could be wrong. I have been wrong many times in my life.

Thank you all for the help. Keep the sugestions comming.

Have a great day,
Jared

I'm rocking both 16x7.5" +38 and 16x7" +40 without issue. I zip-tied my brake lines in the front for the same reason.

Well I zip-tied the lines loosly to the upper controll arm. The noise is gone now.

Brain- What wheels are you running? Since thease will be track tires Can I go with a more agressive offset?

Have a great day,
Jared
