Default extended rear tophat with mcs?

For those using Motion Control shocks on a lowered NB, is it helpful to use an extended rear shock upper mount? Or, are the shock bodies already sized shorter than OEM?

It is not necessary, you can run them with NB upper mounts. The shock bodies are already shortened. That being said, a good spherical upper mount will be beneficial and I have them in stock locally.
