Default Bearings or slave?

Im getting this grinding or could even be a metal on metal rattle type sound from what sounds like the clutch housing. It only happens when I press the clutch and I only hear the sound when im at the halfway point while pressing the clutch. It also does it when press the clutch and go to put it into gear. As I move it into the gear you hear this noise. It dosent do it all the time and if I sit there and run it thru the gears it does it the first few times and then stops. The clutch grips perfectly all the way to redline in all gears and the trans shifts smoothly. FYI is an ebay F1 "stage 3 clutch"

I'd put money on the bearings. Never heard of a slave failure making those kinds of noises.

Did you use OEM bearings or the ones that came with the kit?

I used an all metal pilot bearing from discount and the throw out bearing that came with the kit.

I've heard a few rumors of the cheap bearings that come with the kit going bad pretty quick....probably some truth to them but no personal experience to speak from.

I had one throwout bearing go from eclutchmaster and another one that seems fine. (The good one is the first one, I'm doing OEM from now on)
