I found a shop in WV that's been in business for 45 years that seems to have some. Just waiting on them to double check and call me back in the morning. Seemed like a stand up place when I looked them up and called them.

1-2 of them got nicked when I was hammering off the stock spring perches. If I'm going to need to get 2, I might as well replace all of them. I had no idea it was going to be such a hassle to find them though!

I'll have to look, I know I ordered a big bag of circlips but I'm not 100% sure where they ended up.
Unrelated, does anyone have a pair of 6", 2.5" diam, 700 lb/in springs laying around? I figure they're fairly common since they're spec Miata take-off's. I already have 550's, so I'm not super motivated to buy a new set, figured I'd check for used first.

They're basically new in box. $90/pair + paypal fee and shipping. A pair will fit in a medium rate flat rate box ($11??).
So, $90 + $11 + $3 = $104 and they're yours. You can PM me for paypal. Pics if you need.

Hopefully I remember tonight. As long as someone posts in this thread tonight, I'll look for them. Believe it or not, I check MiataTurbo more than I remember what I'm supposed to be doing sometimes...

Thanks so much for checking.
And thanks for not telling me about the heat option bahurd. Jeez.
(I'm totally kidding. I probably would have blown up a shock if I tried that.)

I'll PM you and bother you. I have a few other things to take care of before I build the shocks, so I'm going to hold off on ordering them right away in case you guys find some. Bilstein was closed. I can try them again on monday if you all strike out.
Thanks so much for checking.

That's OK. The first set I did I literally beat the perch off the first one. I was freezing because winter in the midwest inside my garage. I heated the next one about 20 seconds with a propane torch and the next 3 almost fell off. It was more work not to burn myself... The 2nd set took me probably 5 minutes all 4 shocks and another 5 minutes to pop the tab off.
Definitely took me a good bit to get everything off. They were sitting in my unheated garage in New England. It was in the 40's outside when I was doing this. Fire would have been nice for both ease of take-off and warmth! I definitely looked at the torch too, but like I said i probably wouldn't have ever tried that without being told to because of the warning on the shocks re gas.

FYI, the one's I have aren't the Bilstein factory part. It's this here: https://www.motionindustries.com/pro...p?sku=00651327
I'm guessing I did the research right when I bought them, but it wouldn't hurt to double check that they are the right size. I never got around to using them, so I can't say 100%.
