Default 1.6 clutch and flywheel in a 1.8?

I have a 94. I just put in a Godspped 2 core radiator,an East Coast short shifter and a strut tower brace. Next on my list is a light weight flywheel and clutch replacement.

I've read that the 90-93 era is the way to go. Is this true? They are an exact bolt in? I thought that they would be weeker than the 94 and newer ones.I'm alittle confused.
Thanks for the help.

A standard 1.6 set-up is lighter, but weaker than the equivalent 1.8 setup. Most go for a light 1.8 flywheel and select the clutch disc and pressure plate to match their requirements.
