Default Common place to get 01+ sport rotors?

Where's a common place to get 01+ sport rotors? I had FM rotors but I don't want to wait for replacements to be shipped out to me... I'm in Maryland. Thanks.

Yah... I found out that the 03 rotors are actually all the same. The "sport" rotors became standard that year. NAPA stocks them so I'm cool. I initially thought that there were separate sport and regular rotors...

How expensive were they? I have a set of sport brakes (rotors and all), but everybody on miata.net told me it would be harder and a lot more expensive to buy rotors. For comparison, I can get cheapo rotors from Napa for my 99 for about $30 each.

Seriously, how often do you replace rotors?

Not often, so install em.

I run the rotors/calipers off an 04 MSM and they were night and day compared to the stocker NA, calipers.

Rockauto shows 2 different diameters for '03 tires with sport and non sport suspensions. 10.03 vs 10.62. $30 + shipping (8 bux) for the larger.

you need to expect the wrong rotors. I've ordered 3 times now and everyone keeps sending me standard rotors. At this point, I'm about to give up and get standard calipers because no one will send me the correct rotor.

Where have you been ordering?

If its such a problem, why not hit up the mazda dealer?

10.6 is the correct size.

because the 2nd time we tried to make it right with carpart.com, then I tried napa, now I'm stuck. They're $110 each from Mazda.

In case anyone didn't read further down the thread, I was WRONG. There's the 10" and 10.6" sizes. I got the 10" rotors and had to reorder the 10.6". They got them shipped and in stock the next day.

I got the Napa premium type and they look pretty good. They're painted black in the middle. They were about $43 apeice. My car doesn't seem to stop any worse than the overpriced Racing Brake (brandname) rotors I had before.

Side question--

I had my rears resurfaced and the rotors are looking kind of funky now post-bedding. They're brownish instead of shiny silver. It's not rust. I'm running Carbotech Bobcats-- is this a "feature" of Carbotechs?
