Didnt notice this before - trying to figure out what's going on on my rear setup. They are Koni sports, GC tubes, and Eibach 300# springs - on track only. Anyone else get spring to tube rub?

mine's done that, just not so bad. are those 2.25" springs? you could cut done the sleeve so it's not so tall.

That's a good idea - it's not like I'm gonna hike it up any higher than what it's set at. I was just worried there might be something twisted/out of spec with the setup.

Do you have those little plastic spring isolators on the bottom? Insepct them when you disassble and cut the tube.

one solution to this is helper springs. but it looks like you don't have the top spacers in place that keep the spring from moving...

I've had some rub with mine but not that drastic. Is the spring unloading and shifting at full extension?

Mine are doing the same thing as well, but also not nearly as bad. Koni Race/GC/Eibach Springs.

I could use a set of helper springs since the front shocks can unload at full extension. Then again I believe I saw the same wear on the rear adjuster tubes and the rears do not unload at full extension. The rubber spring retainers on all of the tophats are fine.

Well, after having some time to inspect, it's quite clear what's going on on the pass rear. However, my camera sucks so excuse the clarity - but it's obvious the spring is not centered on the rubber isolator at the top. I'll have to pull the assembly out and try to 'mold' the isolator where the spring smashed it - or get a new one. Man - wonder how long that's been going on? I had better do more detailed inspection from now on.

No clue - same setup since I bought the car in '09. Hopefully some Xidas in the future for me.

I have the same problem and I'm using the isolators, they're about as centered as i can get them. Like others said, my sleeves will never go up that high anyway.
