Does anyone use these?

My racingbeat sway bar killed a bolt and I HATE HATE HATE that brace. I'd like to switch to this one becuase its supposed to be stronger and hopefully eliminate the flex that keeps breaking the heads off bolts.

I've been running them for years. I cracked a stock mount and replaced them with these. There is no way in hell you will break them.

Me too. Strong as **** and I did keep the white RB brace on just for kicks.

I've been ordering from MiataRoadster since they came out with the billet gears oil pump. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed by their customer service, so price is secondary. You would have to ask Bill about the pricing, but given that their shopping basket is paypal-only, I guess that gives them a 4% markup.

I buy from bill because of the badass customer service. Why not just build a set with square tubing? Then the bar can be raised up a few inches to make up for lowering the car and the only real cost is time.

With a 1 1/16 or 1 1/8" tubular Racing Beat on an NA Miata (10kg/mm up front), I'm using the RB blocks... should I consider this piece by AWR? Are there any signs of imminent failure or does it just happen w/o warning?

Metal fatigue happens over time. By the time you notice it, it'll be time for something new.

If you need it or not depends on what tires you're using and the usage of your car.

275 width R compounds on the track? Yes.

185 width all season on the street? No.

So these AWR mounts would be able to fix it if the mounts ripped?

I use 205 all seasons on the street, and 205 street tires, currently on 180 treadwear RE-11s on the track, as often as my wallet allows. This year I've done 3 events and 2 more planned.

If anything, in the future, the most I'd ever run would be 225 NT01s.

If you're doing regular track days, and have any plan to go to the 225 NT01's, I'd get them sooner rather than later.

That's mainly because I hate having my fun ruined by broken stuff. They're cheaper than a track day missed for a broken bolt.

Well, for now I'm still on street tires (hence the RE-11s) for track use. I don't believe I'm a good enough driver for R comps just yet, though I've used them on my other car. (For me, I think jumping to R comps would just cover my driving flaws).

I'm still new to the Miata actually on 180TW tires... the first track days I was doing with the Miata was on 360TW all seasons, to get a feel for it.

If you're on track, going to be pushing hard, bouncing off curbing, eventually going rcomps, no reason but money to put off fixing a point of failure.
