That's what I am trying to describe as well. Mine is of this style. Bolt the black part to the back of the block first, then insert into the rest of the stand:

I got mine on sale for $159 this spring. They go on sale about every other month.

Yeah, I got the combo hoist/engine stand for $199 from another HF-type place. Cummins stuff. Same China factory as HF.

BTW, seeing as you didn't even know you had it, do you need it or is it for sale? I needs me a HDSS clutch soon.

I need it too. My clutch is sizzling every time I hit boost. LOL. I am so happy!

I would like to get the pan off and see what is inside the motor. If it is forged, I'm going to install it too. LOL.

Got a PepBoys local to you? They sell them for $130 or so, and often have a $20 rebate.

Pep Boys sold them for about $20.00 last year during Christmas time. I bought 4 of those then.

Flyin' Miata : Engine/Drivetrain : Transmission : Flyin' Miata clutch Happy Meal

they don't make the purple one anymore sadly, here's the new one:

Flyin' Miata : Engine/Drivetrain : Transmission : FM lightweight flywheel

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the purple flywheel.

Todd, if you need a hand, call me.
