I wouldn't try either of those spring combos. I've been playing with a 1000/600 setup for the last 2 events. It was way too stiff in the rear without aero. With a GTC200 and a small front lip it felt pretty good, but with more balanced aero I think it still would have been too stiff in the rear. I also run about 1/8" rear toe-in, so it would have been even worse with the 949/mt.net-spec alignment with 0 rear toe.

Thanks for posting... I'm about to change springs while installing my sadfab stuff. I might not go as soft as I was planning if the bushings make that big of a difference.

This might have been mentioned already, but could SADFab make a set of delrin diff bushings/is there really any benefit over poly for the diff bushings?

Garagestar sells them, but I would rather give you guys my money...

Without something for the lower diff mount I'd say poly is probably better. I don't think garagestar has anything for the lower mount, and the dimensions in that thread don't show anything for the lowers, either.

Oh I see... Yea sandwiching delrin on top of the OEM rubber doesn't seem like it would do much. I guess I'll see if Miataroadster will sell me just the delrin bits without the $45 brackets. If not I'll get poly.

I bought my poly bushing set and it came with diff mounts and stuff, I just used the poly lower piece from that with an FC RX7 delrin diff mount set and it was good to go.

So, has anyone actually run delrin bushes on a relatively daily drive?
So something aimed for track days but still driven regularly on street?
How do you rate it?

Mine is a track toy, but Ive been driving it around to break the motor in. So far about 300 street miles on the delrin bushings, and I would not hesitate to daily them.

Ill modify my original statement a little as I have noticed they do increase "sharp edge" NVH. Things like freeway expansion joints, or a street that has a ton of crack repair done. Its not terrible, but noticeable. Also keep in mind I have a 6 puck ceramic clutch with a 9lb FW and very stiff motor mounts. Would daily those too lol... Although the motor mounts do get very annoying.

I'm in the same boat as sean. Twin disc, 3" straight pipe exhaust.

NVH doesnt seem worse. But harsher on big bumps. Less to absorb the impact.I also switched from 190k rubber.

Thumpetto will be the best representation.

Mine will be 1/2 derlin and daily.
Just waiting on them to come in and get my car back on the road.

If it weren't for the maintenance costs, id rather daily an e39 over my e90 for less noise and NVH, so I probably wouldn't be a good candidate to ask about Delrin bushings on a daily Miata.

I'm genuinely curious to get feedback on them in a street car. I noticed almost no change in my ride, but it's already a NVH shitshow. Hopefully thumpetto will give us a good idea of them in a fully loaded car.

As far as I know the 3 cars currently running the full delrin bushings are all track cars that are loud and obnoxious anyways.
