The strut bodies are the same length but the shafts on the NB coilovers are 1 1/4" longer, fully extended.

My endlinks cost me like 15$ a side from some summit racing type vendor, running the NB 1.125" hollow rb front bar for a couple years now

So, I'm reading this thread and trying to decide if I want to buy a set of rears to put on a lotus seven replica I'm building which utilizes the miata rear subframe. It seems that given the huge debate amongst motorsport enthusiasts on the topic, I would be crazy to buy them, and I'd be better off spending my money on Tein or something similar, am I right, or am I wrong? Better SAFE than sorry?

Son of a bitch! I finally decide to pull the trigger, and the Riceland website is down again. I send them an email and start searching ebay since they have a store there too, no dice, just some ****** selling stickers.

Thinking of buying these for an NB DD. This is an odd question but how high of ride height can you run?
I need full stock ride height in winter. While I do have 2 sets of wheels/tires for summer/winter
I don't want to also have to swap suspension for each season.

You should be able to do more than factory height. Make sure your alignment is correct if you change from say 12" - 15" ride height.

Stock ride shouldnt be a problem, however thats just an opinion. Try PMing 18psi or OP and ask them.

Really I'm only buying them so I can get that spring perch spanner and I can use that on my motocross bike. (which has 12" of suspension with real comp. and rebound and even a separate rear high-speed comp. adjustments)

So, do you remove the stock bump rubber from the stock tophats or what? I can't seem to find a good picture of this.

Not sure what you mean. It seems as though the top hat is just transferred whole.

Unless you mean that chunk of rubber left over... yeah that's probably what you meant.

I dunno what's right, this from the thread on CR.

Joe, just take the top hat off old shocks, transfer to new. The racelands come with new bumpstops.
