My tophats will be machined from billet Chineseium (translation: poorly-cast pot metal), not welded together. I may even engrave a logo into them.
Can't say. Back when I had mine done, there was no "they," just Shaikh. Met him at an event in LA around the same time I was realizing what a ****-poor decision I'd made with the AGX shocks, at which time he was just starting up the business.
He definitely takes his time, and good luck getting a response to emailed inquiries. But if you actually call him on the phone he's quite responsive and happy to talk your ear off about the physics of damping. Unlike a lot of folks in the business of shock valving, Shaikh is actually an engineer.
Exactly- what a stupid solution. You've already got ~2,300 lbs of unspring weight, why add 20 more pounds of concrete?
My solution will weigh far less than any competing suspension system, bar-none.

I've had my Racelands for around three months now. They provide a much better than stock ride and I noticed a slight improvement in the handling department. I mean a set of four OEM shocks and springs costs more than these do, so that's why I chose them. A race ready super-stiff set of coilovers wasn't what I was looking for. I was looking for a replacement for my worn out OEM ones, and some ride height adjustability. And what I got was just that, and I'm satisfied with them!
