Any other recommendations for an n/a trackcar than the 1.8 organic clutch? I'm using a 1.8 flywheel and I make it a principle not owning 1.6 parts I'll be placing a large order soon then.

The 1.6 clutch spins-up a ton faster. I have one now and will replace it with the 949 budget clutch when the time comes.

If it is not driven on the street and you have the budget, get the twin. Otherwise our 1.8 Sport Clutch - organic sprung hub and light flywheel are the best bet.

Yarp. Anything around here that doesn't get the twin, has a 1.6 clutch/flywheel for that reason. Except William's cars. He likes the slightly heavier 1.8 flywheel on Nemo and Enzo.

As much as I'd like to go baller twin, it's ~1k more than the fancy orange clutch and I just cannot not swing that much right now. My current flywheel is an ACT pro-lite, previously used with a cerametallic 6 puck. Car is still driven on the street (to and from track for 80%) but I don't want to do stop and go traffic with a pucked clutch anymore. I've done it and it got old real fast. If the organic 1.8 will hold anything a built VVT motor can throw at it, that seems the ticket for me

There are puck type designs with organic and other types of friction material. Puck type clutches are not always jerky, copper or metal friction materials usually are.

You want the organic, solid hub 1.6 clutch. I have an ancient Spec aluminum plate/fidanza set-up now and I'm very happy with it, but I'll replace it with my suggestion above when that time comes. It will also be orange.

Got mine too, organic disc w/ unsprung hub. Looks pretty to me. Dropping off the pressure plate at the machine shop in a few minutes.

jst purchased the standard organic sprung hub. hopefully this holds my 215wtq. probably pushing it. thoughts? should i just bump up to the ceramic? car is daily driven and sees abuse every now and then.

1.8 should be fine. Near the limits of the 1.6 version. Ceramic handles that easily even with the 1.6

just installed. still have some breaking in to do. had the FM stage 1 before. Overall the SuperMiata clutch has a bit stiffer pedal feel than the FM. but its a stiffness that I personally like. not too stiff but definitely makes the car feel "sportier". Can still daily drive with ease.

hey any warranty issues if my ballancer guy grinds down some of the pressure plate? even though it already happened still want to know how that would work out for me if something happens to the pressure plate. btw it was off balance a good amount if anyone wants to know.
