I've put about 150 miles on my SM clutch in the last week and I'm loving it. I had a Clutch Masters FX200 before and was a pain to drive smoothly. The SM clutch is sooo much easier to drive and modulate.

Side note, I read a thread the other day that said that the squeaky noise we hear when clutch is completely out is the result of the clutch master rubbing against the fork... Metal on metal. Did anyone ever think to maybe put a delrin or similar polymer bushing in there to eliminate the noise? Maybe I am just being a nitpicker but it seems like it would have been something cheap and easy to engineer. Next time my car is up on the lift I will look and see how easy it would be to fabricate something. Has anyone solved this "problem" before?

Another thing that can kill the release bearing is solvent sprayed in there to clean stuff, rinsing the grease out. Our advice is to not adjust anything when installing our Sport Clutch. Just make sure the system is bled and go drive. The engagement point should be somewhere mid travel. You can lower the engagement point closer to the floor for racing by shortening the pushrod then turning in the cruise control switch to lower the pedal resting position. We do this on all our race cars. Just make sure you don't lower the pedal so much it drags, killing syncros.

We recently discovered that the last batch of covers of our 1.8 were incorrect. We identified the flaw (spec change) and contacted each of the affected customers. We are sending free replacements and covering two way shipping. On behalf of those that requested compensation for incidental expenses, we asked the manufacture for a reimbursement. We have asked each customer that requested compensation to submit a labor invoice.
No other customers or clutch components are affected. We went as far as contacting all the customers with 1.8 kits from the previous batch and found they were all working perfectly ("I love my clutch!"). If you have not been contacted by me personally, your components are not affected.

Had a 6 puck sprung hub clutchnet disk on an ACT2600 in my DSM.
Had to massage splines on it with a dremel before it would slide properly on the input shaft.
Would not buy clutchnet again.
Will but Supermiata when my current clutch dies.
