Default Removing speedo sensor from gearbox

Hey guys!

Very quick question: When removing the speedo sensor from the gearbox, should I drain the gearbox first?

Looking to replace my analog speedo with a digital one.

Cheers.

I would not drain the fluid. A little might come out while swapping them, but you should not loose to much fluid.

I see. I'll just tilt the car forward then, to prevent loss as much as possible.

Cheers!
