It's hard to want to help someone that:
1) posted in the wrong section because he didn't even bother looking around the site, or using search function, or do anything but want us to cater to his random questions.
2) is a complete n00b that didn't bother to introduce himself, just expects people to help answer his random questions as if that's what we're here for and awaiting eagerly to do
3) type's his posts like they are text messages, likely from his phone, thinking we are all 13 year olds that communicate like apes
4) asks a really vague and silly question like "what's EVERYONE running?" on a site of over a hundred thousand people, like there's a universal size that fits all

I could go on, but I won't.

Just asked a simple question. What size of steering wheel are you running? Only expecting a 3 word answer if it bothers you that much why did you reply. Also clearly your 13 if you own a car. Drive a car. Modifi a car. Clearly that makes you 13 and yes I am a noob I am sorry about that not much I can do about it. If you had just started talking to me then I would introduce my self it's my first time on this site. A friend told me to check it out and so far I am not impressed if you had just given me some pointers on how to get around this site that would hAve been great but instead I get a very un polite member of this site speek to me. 👍🏻 Great way to introduce a new user!?!? Thanks

On the same topic, how many mm does everyone sit from the steering wheel? For those who are on stock seats, is there an optimal Miata seat back angle (in radians please)?

TGT, do you think a 5% difference in diameter will make a world of difference? I think 95% of us prefer the Momo Mod.12 which offers plenty of leg clearance for tall guys.

Are you under the impression that we're here for you and somehow have to meet your expectations of what this place should be like?

Genuine question: Do you walk up to a random group of people, and straight up just ask them a question about a steering wheel?

Please, enlighten me.

No not at all I have never been on one of these forum websites before. I didn't realise I need to tell my life story before I am alowed to ask a simple question. I am sorry if I have offended anyone on this website with my dyslexia or my rudeness

We're a group of enthusiasts. We're a community. Lots of friends. We help each other out. That's just how it goes. IF you've never been on an internet forum before then this thread makes sense. We don't need your life story, but we have a "meet and greet" section for a reason. So that you can introduce yourself and become part of the community where people help each other out.

What really bothers us is when total strangers treat this place like their own personal Wickipedia or Craigslist. They jump in, get what they want, and just leave. We don't care about those people, because they don't care about us.

Anyways, welcome to MT. If you stick around and get to know us, you'll be pleasantly surprised that this is indeed the best Miata forum in existence.

Ye I completely understand where you are coming from I would be the same with users like that. I am here see the website after being sujested it by a few other miata owners. I have a huge amount planned for my miata and am wanting to learn as much as possible. I love the idea of complete strangers coming to gether to help each other with same intrests sorry if we got off on the wrong foot. But I hope to be sticking around for a while as I am not looking to move on from my miata anytime soon.

Frees up a lot of leg room. Perfect for tall people.
