Is the 220ftlbs listed for the B6 organic clutch still the same rating for the new hybrid disk? I am shooting for an eventual 200-220hp on a 1.6 and getting a clutch I can just drop onto the stock flywheel would be nice.

The website is correct. I'd suggest choosing a clutch with more headroom, such as the sprung puck.

Sounds good. It will be a street car/track toy, so I will just dump a 1.8 flywheel and a BP clutch in it. Wanted to keep MOI down a bit, since I decided the money for a light weight would be better spent on a bice radiator.

At 220whp I'd do a B6 sprung puck and light flywheel. Much lower MOI than any BP combination, plenty of capacity and still daily driveable. The sprung hub is the key to make it streetable.

Needing to order a new clutch to go in at the same time as Mobius' old Rotrex. VVT swapped NA, probably around that 200hp/165tq. I currently have the 949 aluminum 1.6 flywheel, so 1.6 organic/hybrid sounds good, any reason this wouldn't be a good choice?
Street/autox/hpde car.

Organic would work, last a long time. Puck sprung would be a bit less smooth, last forever.

Just placed my order for the puck sprung with flywheel. Very, very excited for this one. Will be reporting back in my build thread.

Hey what happened to the hybrid disc? Or is that just the "organic"? I seem to remember three options (organic/hybrid/ceramic)

Gotcha. I have an ACT organic disc with my 1.6 pressure plate, it's one you sent me right when some supply issues were happening with the original manufacturer. Would the new disc hold any additional torque? If not I'll hold out and see if it survives, and throw a ceramic in if I need it.

Should be no problem unless you plan on pouring 300lbs through it. Most of the reservations I have with ACT clutches are with their pressure plate. We have used their discs with success in the past, although our SPM disc still has a stronger drive hub design.
