Anybody install floor mounted Tilton pedals?
I have a 3 way setup I may use in my NB LS6 race car I am starting to build. Though the stock system is great I would have to spend at least half the cost of the setup I already own to make it work with the brakes and clutch, etc. If I cannot get a good offer on buying the Tiltons I may as well use them if room to do so, saves weight, mounted lower, true bias adjustment, etc........

I have nothing directly helpful, but I suggest you take a close look at what the top E and F prod cars in SCCA are using, since those are the most highly developed miatas in restricted class road racing, IMO.

I'm about to put a set of Tilton 600 series floor mounts in my X-Prepared car. The pedal face ends up about 13" from the firewall unless you use AP Racing short master cylinders or remote mount the master cylinders. Unless you have a fairly short inseam, you end up sitting all the way back against the bulkhead (I do) and will have to relocate the steering column and wheel (I am).

Any chance of moving that area of the firewall forward a bit??? I do not have a car far apart enough here to tell yet.
OK, just looked, should of known better, NOPE, cannot move the firewall forward there unless running tiny diameter tires
I have the 75 series master cylinders and just eyeballing things looks like it comes up around 9" of space needed but have not compensated for pedal swing, etc....hope not to much!
I am 5'8" and have a shorter inseam so no worries for me but I want at least a 6ft driver to fit in case I cannot drive the car well enough

I just added up what this pedal setup cost me and I may end up selling it if I can get the right price then staying stock and changing those master cylinders out instead, trying to keep the budget as reasonable on this car as possible.
I have the pedal set, 3 master cylinders, throttle kit, throttle cable, etc....nearly $1,100!
I can stay with stock stuff and spend around $400, big difference but only if I sold the new stuff at a decent price, if not may as well use it!
