What is optimal droop travel for a Miata?

I like using photography to help figure that out once you have a car working reasonably well. If you use a long lens from a low shooting angle you can see all four contact patches during different stages of the cornering process and track curb encounters.

that's a good point. you can tell if you are bottoming on hard corners (with bumps).

my point was that given finite shock travel, it may be hard or impossible to set an ideal droop when it may limit you for bump travel.

I'm at 12.75 with about 1.5-1.75 droop travel at the rear.
