Default For those with Looped Line PS Delete

Read this elsewhere - reduced the steering effort considerably. Cheap FRAM fuel filters that I opened up. Soooo much easier in the parking lots.

are you sure you just didn't have too much fluid left in the lines? Then you'd be pressing against it constantly.

You sure you didn't have them looped wrong before? I just don't see how VTA could be much easier than pushing air through a line.

This is how I had them looped. Spun the steering wheel lock to lock until no more fluid came out.
