thanks emilio. I think I'm going to get another set of your wheels in the 9" and use those for the track.

thanks for the input everyone. but has anyone compaired a 225 hoosier to a 275??? if not ill just stick with the Nitto's I liked them and Emilio seems to think its the best set up for my 15x9's. Do you think I would notice a difference from the Nitto's on the 15x8's vs the 15x9's?

I switched from 8s with 225/45 NT-01s to 9s with 225/45 RA-1s. The 9s had better turn-in and steering feel, and they are faster.

Good thread,

I used shaved v700s in a 205 on a 7 inch wheel last year, now badly worn.

Was thinking of going to 225 n-01s for my new UL 8s.

They would be wider tire but harder compound. Would it get me to the same place with better wear?

I can't wait for Saturday. I have fresh NT-01s and I know what the hell I'm doing now.

I just put a set of R6's on today and they drive quite differently than the NT01's did.
